Sjakalen

Another watercolour - and - ink experiment from my current sketchbook. It developed from a pencil sketch of Janove 'the Jackal' Ottesen, the brilliant singer and songwriter of the Norwegian band Kaizers Orchestra. The likeness isn't too great, but I thought it ended up looking quite cool anyway. The scan is awful, though, and the uploaded version even worse, so sorry for the bad resolution.

The text in the foreground means: 'The Jackal is always right. Even when he's wrong'. And the lettering barely visible in the background are the lyrics for the song 'Kontroll på Kontinentet'.
